Janet died in a car accident in 1970. I don’t remember the month but we were 20 years old. The crash happened at the intersection where Rockhill Road and Holmes meet, if I remember correctly. Traffic signals were installed there shortly after the incident.
Yes Marjiann, you are right about the year. I don't remember the month either, but it was before August. She was going to be a bridesmaid at my wedding on August 20th. We were pretty good friends obviously. She crashed into a house and was killed instantly. Very sad.
