LLOYD EDWARD RETHEMEYER II 

Lloyd Edward Rethemeyer II, 65, Olathe, Kan., passed away August 7, 2016. He was born Sept. 6, 1950, to Dale and Mildred (Hoffman) Rethemeyerin Kansas City, Mo. He was a buyer in the steel industry for over 30 years. Lloyd was an avid fisherman, hunter and enjoyed spending time at the family cabin in the Ozarks. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol, children, Alison (Jeremy) Lock of Overland Park, Kan., Elisha (Jeremy) Moore of Normal, Ill., Philip Evans of Long Island, NY, and brother, Craig Rethemeyerof Peculiar, Mo. Papa Lloydis also survived by his two grandsons, Joseph and James Lock and two nephews, Robert and Austin Rethemeyer. The family will receive guests for visitation 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home in Olathe. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 7601 Blue Ridge Blvd., KCMO 64138.
